CapNet CEO and President Honored by San Fernando Valley Business Journal in 5th Annual 40 Under 40 Issue
Los Angeles, February 19, 2008 - Dustin White, Founder and CEO, and Blake Johnson, President, Capital Network Leasing Corporation (CapNet) have been honored by the San Fernando Valley Business Journal in its special "40 Under 40" issue. The fifth annual issue is dedicated to honoring the top 40 executives under 40 years of age who've achieved extraordinary career accomplishments.
The Business Journal designates the 40 Under 40 honorees as the young business people to watch in 2008. "Although they come from different backgrounds and have varied experiences, this year's group of honorees shares two things," said the Journal. "A desire to not only rise quickly to the top of their professions, but also to become valued members of their communities."
White founded the company in 1999 and has since grown it into one of the most successful equipment finance companies in the country. Employing a staff of 70 from new headquarters in Burbank, Ca. he has managed the firm's expansion into Newport Beach and Phoenix, helping CapNet earn the #1 spot on the Business Journal's fastest growing private companies list in 2007. White credits bringing on Johnson, President, as a step that played a major part in the company's growth.
Johnson, who manages CapNet's overall sales performance and recruiting efforts, has made a huge impact on the company's profitability. Asked by the Journal, what the greatest challenge of his career has been, Johnson replied: "My biggest challenge is to find the right people to bring on to the team, keeping them headed in the right direction and at the right pace."
According to business associates, both men have done an incredible job of building CapNet by bringing vision, thinking strategically, and valuing relationships. The passion and energy impressed David Schaefer, Orion First Financial, LLC. "I see a bit of me when I was a young guy," said Schaefer. While the company started by offering equipment leases, it has expanded its services to offering accounts receivable and working capital financing, to become a full-service business finance firm.
