Dustin White
Founder, CEO
As CEO of CapNet, Dustin White is responsible for the strategic development of the organization. His primary
focus is new product development, financial planning and overall general management. Dustin’s extensive
knowledge of technology and marketing has been the driving force behind CapNet’s ability to sustain high levels
of growth and expansion.
After spending several years in the Life and Health insurance industry Dustin was asked to join Crocker Capital in their Beverly Hills sales and marketing office. In 1999 Dustin saw an opportunity to create an independent finance company that focused on the needs of small- to medium-sized businesses throughout the United States. Dustin spent the next 24 months researching the market and in 2001 incorporated Capital Network “CapNet”. Dustin has since managed the firm’s expansion into the Burbank headquarters, Orange County and Arizona.
Blake Johnson
President
As President of CapNet, Blake Johnson is responsible for sales recruitment, development and management.
Through his sales leadership and the culture he has helped create, CapNet has been recognized by The Los
Angeles Business Journal as the 5th Best Place to Work in Los Angeles. Blake manages the production of all
CapNet offices and sales departments. He has been instrumental in CapNet’s expansion into other markets
and continues to manage the company’s expansion throughout the United States.
Blake graduated from the University of Arizona with a BS in Finance and Marketing. He started his career with Balboa Capital directly out of college and quickly became their #1 Sales Representative. Blake held that title for several years before moving into management. Before joining CapNet in 2003, he was in charge of the Business Development Group at Balboa. Not only did Blake manage the most profitable group within the organization, he spearheaded their very successful broker channel.
Michael Kromnick
Chief Financial Officer
As CFO of CapNet, Michael Kromnick is responsible for the financial management of the firm. His focus is the streamlining of processes and the implementation of systems which allow employees the tools they need to succeed. His years of experience working in fast-growing, quick-paced environments enable CapNet to utilize best in class practices from a wide range of industries.
Michael received a Bachelor's of Business Administration degree in Corporate Finance from The George Washington University, and a Masters in Business Administration in Strategy from Pepperdine University. He has used his financial and management skills to operate, and consult with, companies in a wide range of industries including banking, defense, real estate development, manufacturing and entertainment.
W. Russell Runnalls CLP
Chief Operating Officer
As COO of CapNet, Russell Runnalls is responsible for the operations management of the organization with a focus on strategic, tactical and short-term operations management. This responsibility extends to the development, design, operation, improvement and implementation of the systems that are required to react to and support the company's fast-paced level of growth, and provide the high quality of customer service that is culturally incumbent at CapNet.
Russell graduated from Bradley University in 1968 with a Graduate degree in Engineering Management. After a number of years of working at various firms in engineering management positions, he switched careers in 1978 and joined Enterprise Leasing in a sales position. Russ quickly moved into management and eventually worked for such other companies as Westlake Thrift & Loan as VP of the leasing division, EVP of operations for Charter Leasing and owner and President of Markay Financial Corporation. Russ was also awarded the designation CLP in 1985. The designation stands for Certified Lease Professional and has been awarded to about 200 professionals in the leasing field as of 2007 after meeting stringent qualification and testing requirements.
Emma Cabildo
Executive Vice President
As Executive Vice President at CapNet, Emma Cabildo is responsible for all aspects of CapNet’s lending units. She joined CapNet in 2003, bringing her expertise in financial administration with her.
Since then, Emma has reorganized the company's debt and credit management systems, supervised financial analysis and costing, and improved upon overall financial performance. Her wealth of knowledge in the financial arena has guided CapNet to new heights of prosperity.
Emma has held accounting and finance positions in the equipment leasing industry since 1985. After completing her BS in Accounting and receiving an MBA, Emma began her career with Charter Equipment Leasing Corporation where she rose to Vice President and Assistant Treasurer. She then took a position at California Capital Leasing where she left 10 years later as Vice President after reorganizing the company's entire financial structure.
